About Debbie

I am passionate about helping people take care of their health and look at the whole person to help them restore balance. I’ve been a journalist for over 20 years and have worked on local and national newspapers. But my interest in health and nutrition led me to re-train, gaining Diplomas in Nutrition and Anatomy and Physiology. I’ve used the Asyra Pro to help people with their health since 2011.

I completed the Advanced Asyra Pro training in 2011 and regularly take part in training webinars, workshops and seminars to add to my knowledge and understanding so I can give the best possible service to my clients.

I particularly love working with people with digestive issues such as Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) and low energy problems as I find the Asyra can quickly get to the root of the issue and show us the way forward to healing.

Many people come to me with weight loss as their main aim too. I help people to lose weight in a healthy, sustainable way. Rather than using diets and calorie-counting, I recommend making positive healthy changes – and give them plenty of delicious recipes too.

I also enjoy running Hatha Yoga and Nutrition retreats and Nutritional Cookery Sessions where we cook healthy food together and then eat it! Raw Chocolate Workshops I run prove very popular!

I offer health screening sessions from Balanced Wellness in Chichester, Body Matters in High Street, Steyning, and from Rustington, West Sussex.

In addition to my private practice, I  run weaning and nutrition groups for parents with babies and young children for West Sussex County Council. I also run Healthy Lunch box Workshops for children’s centres and primary schools.

Previously, I worked for West Sussex County Council with families on all aspects of healthy living, nutrition and changing habits and behaviours. In addition, I supported a group for children with special needs.

I also ran MEND (Mind, Exercise, Nutrition, Do It!) for overweight and obese children and their families in Littlehampton. I worked with families on MEND in Worthing and prior to that did it on a voluntary basis.

So I am able to advise on diet, nutrition and healthy living for people aged nought to 90!
